Herbalife International is a global nutrition, weight-loss and skin-care Company that was founded in the year 1980 by a guy name Mark Hughes, Herbalife currently employs around 4,000 people worldwide and reported a net sales profit of 2.3 billion dollars in the year of 2009, Herbalife's corporate head office is in Los Angeles, USA.
In this Herbalife Reviews I want to take you right back to how Herbalife was started and this was as I said in the year of 1980 Mark Hughes originally started selling the herbalife weight loss product from the trunk of his car, there is claim that the reason Mark Hughes started Herbalife was from the weightloss concerns of his mother that later died from an eating disorder and an unhealthy approach to weight loss.

Mark Hughes then latter died at the age of 44 but the company continued to grow after his death and in 2002 was acquired by Whitney and co LLC and Golden Gate Capital for 685 Million who took the company private again, in 2003 Michael O. Johnson joined Herbalife as a CEO after a 17 year career with the Walt Disney Company.

Herbalife is a multi-level marketing company which is also known as MLM or network marketing, This business model allows the distributors to not only earn commissions from direct sales but from sales off their distributors in their down line, while there are skeptics of this business model that say things like this is a pyramid scheme distributors that are marketing their Herbalife business the correct way are making great commissions from their busines.
Mark Hughes had even formed a non profit corporation called Herbalife Family Foundation in 1994 which was formed to improve the life's of children by providing healthy nutrition to children at risk in addition HFF often supported relief efforts of natural disasters, HFF continued to develop and establish over 60 charity program in six different continents around the globe.
Herbalife also had many sponsorships with sporting athletes, teams and events around the earth and just to name a few, Sergey Konyushok (Strong Man), LA Triathlon, American Youth Soccer Organisation, LA Galaxy the soccer team and the list is huge.
Herbalife's product range included protein shakes, protein snacks, nutrition, energy and fitness supplements and personal care products. The formula one protein meal-replacement shake is the company's number one product and was the first product to be sold by the company. Herbalife's product range also includes targeted products for heart health, digestive health and skin care. The company also provides guidance from health professionals as a part of their marketing.
