Yunnan Travel

Yunnan is one of the most attractive and traveler-friendly destinations in China. It is the most diverse of all China's provinces with unique landscapes ranging from tropical rainforests in south Yunnan to snow-capped mountain peaks in the northwestern part of the province, thus, it offers many yunnan tours options. Kunming is the capital, the political, economical, cultural, scientific and technological center of Yunnan. It has a history of more than 2400 years and it was the gateway to the Silk Road that promoted trade with Tibet, Sichuan, Myanmar and India. The city is one of the best tourist destinations of yunnan tours. Kunming is known as a city of "Eternal Spring" without cold winter and hot summer. Its average temperature is 9ºC in winter and 23ºC in summer and annual average temperature is 15.1ºC.The main scenic spots in Kunming are Stone Forest, Western Hills, Bamboo Temple, Golden Temple, Green Lake Park, etc. The second stop of yunnan travel is Dali which has altitude of 1970 meters and it is located in west Yunnan. Dali is 400 kilometers away from Kunming and it was once the capital of Nanzhao State, the political, cultural and economical center of Yunnan in ancient history. Dali boasts of one of the country's seven freshwater lakes-Erhai Lake and 19 mountain peaks and 18 streams. The other major destinations are Lijiang, Shangri-La, Xishuangbanna, Jianshui, Yuanyang, Luoping, Puzhehei, Tengchong, Ruili, etc.
